very good cover and spine. black and blue illustrations to cover. gold gilt lettering to spine. very clean grey endpapers. book is kept in a slipcase. general wear to slipcase. 2 x3 black and white photographic illustration to one side of slipcase. the first edition of 2300 copies was printed for the Eakins Press at the Press of David R. Godine. The facsimile of the manuscript was printed by the Meridan Gravure Company. Three hundred copies, numbered I-CCC, were printed on a Zerkall Button Paper, bound by hand and signed by the author. This is copy number LV. pages are very clean.
