Bound in full vellum, the back and covers intricately giltand with giltred rules, patterned cloth end papers, edges dyed red. Bookplate of Charles Irving Avery and Lillias Pomeroy Avery, parents of Janet Pomeroy Avery, the wife of U.S. Secretary of State and Senator from New York John Foster Dulles. Small bookseller's ticket front paste down. Very good plus, white vellum boards toned.
