Bright gold gilt border on covers, gold gilt design and lettering on spine, gilt top fore edge, 5 raised ribs on spine, marbled endpages. General shelf wear, rubbed extremities, spine has small peice missing (through the author's name), rear board has two small nicks, good binding, clean body and unmarked text.
