It is historically a very important text He was brilliant for his era and the working conditions he had ...and there is NO question he was a pioneer and thoroughly inspired generations of surgeons to follow him. His name would be known by every plastic surgeon on the planet ...and his principles SHOULD be know and practised by every plastic surgeon on the planet. He was however a pioneer and achieved a lot. He represents one of the milestones in plastic surgery history. His principles still are relevant today and are still spoken of. They are naturally applied in a different manner given the different knowledge and technology we have. None of his techniques would be directly relevant today !!!! principles and his spirit. Plastic surgeons themselves have a tendency to reflect on the history of their own specialty. Oversized book, additional postage may be required.
